Cleaning and disinfecting your home in times of Coronavirus

Cleaning and disinfecting your home

Now, more than ever, we know how important is to disinfect our home to prevent illness. One of the main recommendations by the CDC is to frequently disinfecting highly touched areas like doorknobs, light switches, desks, keyboards, handles, countertops, etc.

The best way to clean is with soap and water, bleach solution or regular old rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol or ethyl alcohol), so long as it’s at least 70% alcohol, one.  Use disposable gloves while cleaning, open windows for air circulation, do not wipe the cleaning solution right away, it should stay on the surface for at least 10 minutes to be able to disinfect the area.

  • Bleach Solution : 4 teaspoons bleach per quart of water
